You can find your customer ID in the communication sent by HSBC advising you of the requirement to set up a Direct Debit Authority.
We are requesting this now so that you have sufficient time to set up the required Direct Debit Authority (DDA) and don’t miss a loan repayment should your loan transfer to Pepper Money.
If OIO approval is not granted, your details will be deleted and not used for any other purpose.
When you establish a direct debit arrangement (arrangement), you are requesting and providing that party with authority to debit your specified bank account. Your current arrangement is with HSBC and cannot be transferred to another party.
Pepper Money can only collect these details over the phone post the transfer date (if approved).

You can provide (and update) these details at any time, but to ensure you don’t miss a payment, we recommend you provide your banking details at least 5 business days ahead of the transition date.
Pepper Money’s preferred method of payment is direct debit. To make payments via a different method from a New Zealand bank account, please contact us after your loan transfers to us (subject to approval).
Yes – as long as all your repayments come out of the same bank account, we’ll update all the loans attached to that customer ID for you.
As Pepper Money is a non-bank lender, we are not authorised to offer bank accounts.
At least one borrower must be an account holder on the nominated bank account.
The Direct Debit Authority Form must be completed in accordance with the signing authority of the nominated bank account. EG if the account is in joint names and is listed as All to Sign then both account holders must sign.
If the acceptor does not have sole signing authority on the bank account, the paper form must be completed and signed by all parties on the bank account.
